Church Street School is home to approximately 300 students in Grades K through 6 in the southern area of Hamden, Connecticut. With about 50,000 residents, Hamden is a suburb of New Haven, and home to Quinnipiac University, Sleeping Giant State Park and our famous Eli Whitney Museum. Church Street School is a diverse K-6 learning community that provides many enriching opportunities for our students and their families. Our school takes pride in our environment and we work hard to make it a welcoming and safe space for all! In addition to our regular educational programs, our school also has a Family Resource Center (FRC), School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC) and a Preschool program to support the students and families of Church Street School. We offer a variety of enrichment programs for students and families throughout the year including a STEM after-school academy, family evening events and activities, and Arts programs.
